We met at UMass Amherst during the Fall of 2004 and started dating on October 4, 2005. We’ve moved around a lot, but we currently live in Waltham, Massachusetts with our two cats, Oscar and Milo. Things we have in common: a strange sense of humor, a love of margaritas and Doctor Who, and weirdly spelled names (Brien with an “e” and FitzPatrick with capital a “P”). We’re very excited to enter the next stage of our relationship, and to have all of you there with us to celebrate.

Brien grew up in Springfield, MA. His interest in math and science led him to become a Geotechnical Engineer (i.e. he likes to play with dirt). He enjoys video games like Battlefield and League of Legends, which he claims is a sport. When he does go outside, he likes to go kayaking on the Charles River (which I love) and skiing (which I hate). He’s smart, funny, and completely wonderful, even though he refuses to admit that he’s a cat lady just like me.

Erin is a graphic designer working in Boston. She grew up in Acton, MA, and has always been interested in art. She worked as a newspaper photographer, and then later went back to school for graphic design. Erin loves reading books, sassing the cats, baking (she even bakes me things that she won’t eat), and her favorite color is Erin Blue (you’ll see it all over the place at the wedding). She is smart and beautiful and she always knows what I mean, even when I don’t.
